Biography:
DMRA history : A group of highly experienced former Manager and executive of Nielsen, took initiative to create market research agency with a new approach. DMRA was therefore set up by Joseph Marcel EPOUPE EKOUE with objective of bringing a different vision and approach to the practice of market research, Social research and marketing consulting in Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Senegal and many others French-speaking countries in sub-Sahara Africa. With their keen knowledge of local habits and customs, DMRA team, whose average age in terms of experience is 15 years, intends to provide clients with the most complete understanding of African markets. •
Joseph who is Managing Director, holds a Master In Strategic & Operational Marketing at European Institute of Marketing (Belgium), he also holds a Degree in Science from Yaounde University in Cameroon with an advanced Diploma in Engineering in Industrial Chemistry & Agro-food from Abidjan.
Prior to joining Nielsen in March 2001, Joseph worked in Advertising, Commercial & Industrial representation, He left Nielsen in November 2012 and started working as International market research Consultant. He is now Managing Director of Data Marketing Research Agency.
Strengths:
Has managed Nielsen Ivory Coast office in an extremely difficult conditions during war period and has seriously increased Company revenue . He has managed successfully RMS operations in Ivory Coast under extremely difficult and demanding conditions. Furthermore, Joseph has played an instrumental role in development of CR business in Sub-Sahara region.
Over the past 5 years, with DMRA, Joseph has carried out several social research studies on large projects whose main sponsor was Melinda and Bill Gate Foundation. (MBGF). Projects such as reluctance of populations to vaccinate against HPV, acceptance by male gender of contraceptive methods, perception of various vaccines against Covid-19 are some large-scale projects that Joseph has carried out with DMRA.
