Background information
Biography:
Hana was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and has been part of the marketing, marketing research and advertising professional community since 1993. She worked in Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, MindShare and Unilever in local and regional roles before starting her own marketing consultancy business.
She coaches marketing teams, develops training programs and seminars and facilitates teams on their path to better marketing strategy. Since 2007, she is a visiting professor at the New York University in Prague and regularly gives lectures in other universities and conferences.
Hana completed her studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague in 1991, and BSc Social Sciences with Media Studies at the Open University, UK, in 2011. An active volleyball player in the past, she still enjoys occasionally hitting the ball, sings mezzosoprano in a Prague Lady Teacher’s Choir and loves jazz, her labrador and her husband (in no particular order).
As the executive director of the local opinion and market research agencies association SIMAR, she strives to support quality in research, as well as cultivates and enhances the use and opportunities for the research and data evidence industry. At the time of significant changes in the demands and approaches to gathering knowledge about consumers and markets, it is even more important to focus on offering research solutions, which truly help client’s business, and provide timely and tangible knowledge.
