Biography:
Dr.Anna Andreenkova, vice director of one of the oldest public opinion research company in post-Soviet countries CESSI (Institute for comparative social research), is leading survey research methodologist in this region. After graduation from Department of Sociology, Moscow State University, Dr. Andreenkova got PhD in Political Science from Russian Academy of Sciences. Dr.Andreenkova was the director of more than 1300 large-scale comparative and single-country research projects – academic, public opinion and marketing. Since 1993 she was actively involved in conducting first exit polls in Russia and other post-Soviet countries together with Mitofsky Int. (USA). In the current time Dr.Andreenkova is Russia’s National Coordinator of largest European comparative study of social, political and cultural values, attitudes and aspirations in Europe – ESS (European Social Survey). Dr.Andreenkova is author of many academic and popular articles and papers, active member of WAPOR. Dr. Andreenkova is well-known expert in marketing research quantitative methods, corporate reputation and image studies, management of cross-national comparative surveys, evaluating of marketing, economic and demographic trends, values and attitudes surveys.
