Background information

Biography:
One of Andrea Rademeyer?s guiding tenets, is, ?better than??

Andrea left her position within the research department of a large Corporate 27 years ago to found Ask Afrika at the age of 27. The corporate experience made it clear that researchers are highly degreed experts who apply rigour to data on indisputable industry standards, to shape decisions made by business and social scientists. To not only compete, but be awarded business, Andrea quickly realized that to grow a business, she had to be ?better than? ?a better innovator, a better problem solver, better at being efficient, better at all things.

Ask Afrika has since been known across global industry giants for its rigour and ability to solve complex research problems not only differently, but properly.

In her quest to be better than, she earned a Master?s Degree in research psychology from the University of Pretoria. She is recognised as a research psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and earned her position as a YPO member at the Harvard School of Business, also having completed courses at Insead, France before. Andrea was chosen as a 2022 JUDGE by Esomar for the Insight250 Global Innovator & Leadership Awards, who compile annual lists of the Who?s Who in research worldwide.

Andrea is a sought-after speaker and sits on many technical research committees. A committee she holds in great esteem is the South African Covid19 MAC technical committee established by the globally respected Prof Karim. Andrea was invited to join this committee after Ask Afrika proactively researched South Africans, presenting findings a week after lock-down, in an ongoing quest to uncover the impact of Covid-19. The research shaped Government policy regarding the pandemic.

Apart from instilling, ?Better than..? amongst her own people, she has a fondness for interesting people and interesting things, and is fondly know as a ?conversationalist?, not afraid to engage at the highest levels, in order to elevate the impact businesses have on society.
