Membership Qualifications Individual membership is open to persons whose ordinary work involves the formulation of marketing strategic plans or for the overall planning of marketing research on consultancy projects or whose work otherwise brings them into contact with marketing research at a responsible level, or whose responsibilities lie in the strategic area of business or who in the Council's view are otherwise eligible to such membership. Corporate membership is open to companies or other organisations that are in any way interested in the development of marketing in Ireland.

Activities The Society's programme is based around a series of evening meetings that provide a forum for marketing professionals to discuss key marketing issues. We also organise market research workshops, seminars on the latest developments in marketing, a marketing conference and celebrity lectures. The main social functions include a Christmas Lunch and Annual dinner in late Spring.
